Our Story

My name is Felicite S Bertin, my closest acquaintances know me as Sherley. I was born and raised in Haiti, I have always been inspired by business, watching my father and mother as business owners, mixed with my passion for food since I was able to operate a stove. Parallel to my university studies, I obtained a degree in culinary arts. I opened my first small business called "kwizipat" in 97 but unfortunately the political instability in Haiti will cause its disappearance. In 1998 I moved to the United States but I did not give up on my dream. I mustered up all my courage and went back to school to get a degree in Hospitality Management. A few years later, BKA (Bertin Kernisant Adam) Traiteur was born in my backyard in Worcester, MA. It took us a long time but we are on our way to realizing the beautiful dream that was born in my native country to share with the whole world the exquisite delights of the Pearls of the Antilles.
